    Mea Gym B.V. ("we", "us") takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains which data we process, why, and on which legal basis under the GDPR.

    2. Data we process

    • Contact and account details (name, email, phone, address) when you sign up, book a trial or place a shop order.
    • Payment and membership data through our membership administration.
    • Purchase data through our web shop (processed by Shopify).
    • Technical data (IP address, device, browser) via server and analytics logs.
    • Social-media content (Juicer feed) when you consent to it.

    3. Purpose and legal basis

    • Performance of the contract (membership, trial, purchase).
    • Legal obligations (7-year tax retention).
    • Legitimate interest (safety, fraud prevention, service improvement).
    • Consent (newsletter, marketing, non-essential cookies).

    4. Recipients and processors

    We only share data with processors that apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including: Gymly (membership admin), Shopify (web shop), Supabase/Lovable Cloud (hosting & database, EU region), Juicer (social feeds), Google (reachability & reviews), Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and our email provider.

    5. Retention

    We keep data no longer than necessary. Tax data 7 years, customer data up to 2 years after membership ends, marketing consent until withdrawn.

    6. Your rights (GDPR)

    You have the right to access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Requests can be sent to info@meagym.nl. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

    7. Security

    We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including TLS encryption, access controls and secure EU hosting.
